Restraining Order Placed on Britney Spears

Britney Spears hit with a temporary restraining order last Thursday night after holding her kids hostage, by the LAPD. Called an "emergency protective order," it is enforced for five business days. Officers did it to "stabilize the situation," confirmed ex-husband Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Kaplan declined to say whetheror not he would seek to have it extended.
"The person it's placed upon would have to stay approximately 100 feet from the other person, or face arrest," LAPD spokesman Mike Lopez, told People magazine. "In most cases, it's issued by officers when there's the possibility of imminent and immediate danger to the victim."

They should extend it for life....or at least until Britney is ready to be a mom.
