Johnny Depp to Replace Heath Ledger

Johnny Depp may be going to replace Heath Ledger in what will now be his last film role. Heath was only six weeks away from finishing the movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

The director, Terry Gilliam is hoping Johnny Depp will film the remaining scenes.

An insider to the film says, “There is a point in the film when Heath falls through a magic mirror. He could easily change appearance. It would be a poignant moment. Johnny’s not working at the moment so everyone is praying he will do it.”

Heath's Funeral

Heath Ledger's body was taken from the Frank E Campbell Funeral Home in New York City Friday afternoon, and being taken to an unspecified airport. Justbefore 4 p.m., his body was placed into a Cadillac hearse to be transported. Some say en route to another service in LA, while some reports speculate Australia for burial. May he rest in peace.

Heath's Tributes

Yesterday, Warner Brothers made tribute to Heath Ledger on "the Jokers website" http://www.whysoserious.com/ by placing a black ribbon on the front page. Then if you click the screen, the front page burns away and turns into a picture of Heath as the Joker, and the ribbon is right next to Heath...It's quite touching....

Heath's parents and sisters each wrote touching tributes in the Friday edition of the West Australian newspaper.

Sam Lutfi Being Deposed

Britney Spears' manager/bff, Sam Lutfi, is inside the office of Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Ferderline's attorney, and Lufti is facing questions about how he fits into Britney's life.

Kaplan is asking if Britney made a deal with the X17 sell pics of her and the kids,although X17 denies it. Lynn Spears, Brit's mom, says she has no idea where Sam came from or how he came to be in Britney's life. The saga continues ...

Amy Wants to go to Rehab....

Amy Winehouse has finally entered Rehab today, thank goodness. Her label says Amy needs "specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards" Sounds to me like they saw the video of her smoking crack and went into damage control.

Britney's Depo Today, and Her Latest Traffic Accident

Last night Britney was back on the scene with Adnan Ghalib. As he was driving Britney's Mercedes, he ran over a fellow photog on a motorcycle. How did Britney respond? By saying "Did ya'll just see that??!!!"

Britney showed up to court today...sort of....This was part two of her emergency custody hearing that she called, she got there today, walked through the metal detector, and left. In turn, the judge made no adjustments. The Brit-wreck still has no visitation of her children.

In other Britney news,

Adnan's wife filed for divore yesterday, and on last nights Entertainment Tonight interview with him, he claims that their relationship "is far from over", that he plans on marrying her, and that the infamous pregnanct test pics were taken while they were looking for a test for Brit, as they were both hoping that she was pregnant with Adnan's baby.

She is such a trainwreck!

Heath Ledger Update

The Coroner's report today says the manner of Heath Ledger's death is inconclusive, but it could be 10-14 days before toxicoligy reports come back.

His Father issued the following statement:
"We, Heath's family, confirm, the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. U.S. time.

We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time. Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him.

He was a down to earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and selfless individual who was extremely inspirational to many. Please now respect our families need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately."

Warner Brothers Issues a Statement

Alan Horn, President and COO of Warner Bros. and Jeff Robinov, President, Warner Bros. Pictures Group have issued a statement about the untimely passing of Heath Ledger.
"The studio is stunned and devastated by this tragic news. The entertainment community has lost an enormous talent. Heath was a brilliant actor and an exceptional person. Our hearts go out to his family and friends."

Heath Ledger Found Dead

Heath Ledger has died in New York Today. He was found facedown on the floor of his bedroom in Soho by a housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET today. Police said prescription pills were found near his body, and all over his bed, and that they believe it was accidental.

The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter, Matilda, with former fiancee Michelle Williams, they separated have been separated since September.

NYPD states thata masseuse arrived at Ledger's apartment and was let in by a housekeeper, and when he didn't answer his bedroom door, the housekeeper and the masseuse went in and found him unconscious. They attempted to revive him, and when they couldn't, they called 911.

When paramedics responded, the actor was in full cardiac arrest. They attempted to perform CPR on him, but it was unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.An autopsy is scheduled for tommorrow, but as of this point, all signs point toward overdose.

Ledger is best known for his groundbreaking role as Ennis in "Brokeback Mountain."and he is The Joker in the upcoming Batman film, "The Dark Knight." He has starred in tons of movies, including one of my all time fav's "10 Things I Hate About you".

Heath Ledger was an amazing actor, and will be missed dearly on the big screen. My heartfelt condolences and warmest wishes go out to all of his family and friends.

Also, on a personal note, I know Bloggers such as myself, and news outlets love to talk shit on people, especially when it comes to drug use. I will say, it greatly saddens me, and is disappointing that we lost such a bright star for such a stupid reason, but this site will refrain from any negativeness in this instance. There is a 2 year old girl somewhere with a Daddy she will never see again, and I don't want her to someday come across any bad words about him on my site....

Today Britney Cares About Her Babies

Shockingly, Britney Spears showed up for a deposition today at the office of Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline's attorney. She testified for almost 2 1/2 hours, and it may be continued until tomorrow. Britney's attorney's reportedly said she was "in good spirits" during her testimony. Britney Gets Back to Work

The owner of Millennium Dance Complex tells People Magazine that Brit came in to work "choreography" for her song "Hot as Ice," and that Britney "rehearsed an amazing routine with a chair." She was there fpr nearly nearly three hours, and asked for a photog named Filipe when she left.

Earlier, Britney was seen at Petco, buying dog food and a birdcage. A birdcage? Does that mean she's going to buy another animal to replace her kids with?

Also, last night, Britney picked up 2 paps and took them back to her place for champagne. They say she was "really sweet." I bet she spits in their faces and calls 'em fucktards today when the camera's are rolling...
