Miley Cyrus Changes Her Name

Miley Cyrus is now really Miley Cyrus. Her birth name was Destiny Hope Cyrus, but has always gine by Miley, so she legally changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus.

I love Miley Cyrus, but some pics are popping up that are breaking my heart... I hope these are photoshopped, and I would believe it. If these are real Miley lost a ton of weight and is a "bobblehead" like me..... Let's look for a statement about them to be coming soon...

Miley weighs in on Britney

Miley Cyrus was asked about Britney Spears during an interview with Extra. She is brilliant.
She says "I think it's so crazy and I think that she needs help!" and adds “If I didn't have my family, I'd probably be in the same position.You just got to know who your true friends are, and I think for me, is my mom,If you have sisters, I mean any girls that are in your family, that can understand and relate to you, I think is the best.”

I couldn't agree more Miley! My mom is my best friend, and if she happens to look at this today - I love you mom, and thanks for not making me a Britney!

The goofy eyebrowed mother who sent in the falsified essay (supposedly written by her 6 year old daughter) to win Hannah Montana tickets, apologizes in a statement on the Today Show for the fake story.

If you are unfamiliar, she sent in an essay, which had the opening line, "My daddy died this year in Iraq" won the grand prize in a contest, that was sponsored by Chicago-based Club Libby Lu.The prize included airfare for four to Albany, New York, and four tickets to the sold-out Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds concert there, and a Hannah Montana makeover. It was a completely untrue story.

After the truth came out, the tickets were awarded to another child.

Miley says "not bad", and I agree.

Maybe It's because I secretly like Hannah Montana (sshhhh) but in a recent interview Miley Cyrus says her "lesbian pics" aren't any thing bad, and I agree. The pics have been all over the internet for the past week, surely getting a bunch of pedophiles all wound up. Personally, I think these were sold to take up some of the negative attention that JaimeLynn Spears has been getting for being a 16 year old pregnant out of wedlock....Conspiracy! Really though, the pics are not bad.
Miley says to Z100 New York radio, "It's two girls at a sleepover, and if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to? It's not something I'm going to let slide," she said. "I'm really upset about it, 'cause it was, like, not even a big deal." She mostly feels bad for homegirl she's with in the innocent photos. "This girl doesn't even have to deal with that, and it's so hard, she has to go to school and deal with this crap." Miley was quoted as saying. I agree completely. I think Miley is a good, fresh face for little girls to see. Who else do they have? JaimeLynn from Zoey101, nope. Vanessa Hudgens, not after those nakie pics! Don't look for bad, in the good peeps!


In other sort of not really Miley/Hannah news, her tourmates, The Jonas Brothers (which includes sometimes psuedo-boyfriend Nick Jonas) signed a multi-million dollar contract with Live Nation.
