On Another Personal Note...

My life has been very different lately...The past three weeks have been an awkward time for me...My boyfriend of 2 1/2 years moved out....We had different futures lined up, so we went our separate ways. Were on good terms, and not bitter or anything. He will always be my best friend. Its been weird, my entire life has changed....I'm lucky to have some really good people in my life to talk to and lean on, and remind me things will be okay. Mallory, Cassy, Heather Pires, Kandi Finster Shannon"Noosem" LJ Ashley Taelor Tots, and of course my parents, you guys and gals are wonderful.

It may still be a minute before I get the site going again, I still see high numbers on my reports, so thank you all for checking back often... Once I get settled in my new life, be it back in Dayton, or as I sit here in the Cap City, I will be back.

I leave you with a quote, that actually I used on 1/24, but I love it.

"Its not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me. "

A Personal Note

I am sorry I havent been on for the past day or so, I know I missed all the Britney drama last night. I am having a bit of a rough spot in my own life now....My whole life just got flipped upside down. Check back often, I am merely on a hiatus, it could be a day, a week....I need to get my own life straightened out before I can get back to discussing the lives of others. As for now, I leave you with a poem that my AMAZING friend Cassy sent me today to cheer me up.

I walked a mile with Pleasure;
She chatted all the way;
But left me none the wiser
Despite all she had to say.

I walked a mile with Sorrow,
And not a word said she;
But, oh! The things I learned from her,
When sorrow walked with me.

First, a little gossip about me.

Hi, I'm Rosie. I am OBSESSED with celebrity gossip. I mean, really obsessed. So, I decided to start my own blog. I figure I should probably start with some gossip about myself, just to make things fair.

I am in my mid-twenties, divorced, and a proud parent to a Boxer, a Pekingese, and 2 Sugar Gliders. I live with my boyfriend, who is super cute, and my celebrity gossip and pop culture obsession drive him crazy. I have an amazing little nephew, and in 2 months will also have a neice. I work in the student loan industry. I have had some way sweeter jobs though, I managed a video game store, worked in a comic shop, record store, day spa and an arcade.

I am originally from the Dayton, Ohio area. Not to much has come from there, besides me, Rob Dyrdek, Hawthorne Heights, the Wright Brothers, WPAFB and GM. Now, I live in Columbus, Ohio. I guess the Buckeyes are a big deal here, but I've lived here over two years and still don't even know where the "horseshoe" is, and have never even seen a game. However, Under One Flag and The Come Up are amazing bands that hail from here, as well as Howard Jones, the singer of Killswitch Engage and Blood Has Been Shed. Majel Barrett-Roddenberry was born here, for those of you un-cool folks out there, she is the widow of Gene Roddenberry, who has been in just about every series of Star Trek, including her role as Betazoid Ambassador Lwaxana Troi as well as the voice of the Enterprise and Voyager Computer.

If you haven't guessed after that super long, over extended sentence, I am a bit of a Trekkie. I also love Star Wars, I even have a big Darth Vader tattoo on my hip.

Thats all I canthink of for now.

R.
